Why tapping and meditation techniques?

Have you experienced the frustration when your emotions, like rebellious children, run their own way and refuse to listen to logical arguments? You may tell them, “This is just a small thing not worth worrying about!” but still you feel anxious and stressed.

The main therapeutic effect of EFT (tapping) is that it enables you to enter into a direct dialogue with your emotions, bypassing or distracting your logical mind. This is one of the main advantages of EFT over other forms of therapy that rely predominantly on the rational faculties of your brain (such as NLP and CBT). And this is also the reason why EFT has helped so many people to overcome the most severe emotional conflicts and traumas where years of conventional counselling have made no difference.

Does it involve talking?

In order to get to the core issue that is creating emotional discomfort it is necessary to talk things through. Very often we are not aware of what is really bothering us. It may seem to be one thing or symptom, but when we begin to unravel the complex web of events and our emotional responses to them, much deeper causes for distress will often resurface. Therefore my regular session consists of talking followed by tapping and/or Reiki.

How many sessions are required?

The duration of the treatment varies, depending on the person and the nature of the problem. Normally, two to six sessions are enough to create a significant shift. The feeling of relief is very often experienced straight away.

How long is the session?

A standard session lasts approximately 1,5 hours. In some cases, however, it may take longer.
